Free to play
FootballPots.com is a free promotional pick'em. There is no entry fee, no buy-in, and no wager. You do not pay Inktronics, Peter Flores, or anyone else to play.
House rules
Free. Full stop.
FootballPots is built to stay a free-to-play contest in Texas: no consideration, no wager, no purchase required.
20
No purchase necessary
You do not have to buy a shirt, a product, or anything else to enter, to make picks, or to be eligible for a prize. Buying something does not improve your chances.
30
No wagering
This is not a sportsbook. The site does not take bets, hold money, or pay cash, gift cards, or cash equivalents. There is no payment form anywhere in the product.

How a week works
Each week has a slate of games. You pick one team to win each game. One correct pick is one point. A wrong pick is a miss and scores zero. If you skip a game, that game scores zero and is not counted as a miss. A tie scores zero for everyone who picked it.
50
Locks at kickoff
A pick can be changed until kickoff. At kickoff the pick locks. After that, only the commissioner can post the final score. Times on the card are shown in Central time.
60
The board
The season board adds every week. The weekly board is just that week. Players with the same point total share a rank. Private pools use the same picks and the same scoring, limited to members of that pool.
70
Private pools
Anyone with a free account can create a pool and share the invite code. Joining is free. The code is the only gate. There is still no entry fee inside a private pool.
80
Prizes
Prizes, if awarded, are Inktronics shirts or other sponsor merchandise. They are provided by the sponsor. They are not cash. The sponsor decides how winners are recognized. A shirt is a promotional gift, not a payout on a bet.

Example data
The slate shipped with this demo is invented sample data so you can click through the product. Matchups, kickoffs, and scores marked example are not the official NFL schedule and are not live results. Do not treat them as real games.

Who can play
You need to be 18 or older. One account per person. The pool is operated from Fort Worth, Texas, by Peter Flores of Inktronics. It is void where prohibited.

Not the NFL
Team names are used so you can tell the games apart. FootballPots is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NFL or its clubs.
Operator: Peter Flores, Inktronics, Fort Worth, Texas. These rules are the house rules for the promotional pool. They are not a bet slip. If a feature ever conflicts with the free-to-play terms, the free-to-play terms win and the site will not take money to enter.
